What we collect

Information you give us directly: your name, contact details, location, and — when you ask us to assess your options — details relevant to study and visa applications such as your age, study history, English test results, and financial circumstances. We also collect standard website analytics (pages visited, device type) via our CRM's tracking tools.

Why we collect it

To answer your questions, assess which courses and pathways may fit your circumstances, deliver our services (course applications, enrolments, visa application support), send you information you have asked for, and improve this website. We do not sell your information.

The course matcher and eligibility check

Our online tools (the eligibility check and the course matcher quiz) keep only what they need: your contact details, your outcome, and the course or career the tool matched you with. Your individual quiz answers are used to calculate the result and are not stored as a personality profile. The result is a starting point from your answers, not a test you can pass or fail.

Who processes it

Your data is stored and processed by service providers we use to run Studyaway: HubSpot (customer records and email), Cal.com (bookings), and Cloudflare (website hosting and security). Where you proceed to an application, relevant details are shared with the education provider and — for visa matters — with the Registered Migration Agent your case has access to, and with the Department of Home Affairs as required by the application itself.

Overseas disclosure

Some of the providers above store data outside Australia (for example, in the United States). We only use providers with recognised security practices.

Marketing

We only send marketing email where you have opted in, and every message includes a working unsubscribe link. Transactional messages about your own application are not marketing.

Access, correction and deletion

You can ask at any time to see the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted (subject to records we are legally required to keep). Emailinfo@studyaway.com.au and we will respond within 30 days.
